"Happiness held is the seed; happiness shared is the flower." ~ unknown
info:
Alongside label artists DJ Trax and Macc, Misspent Music welcomes another Paradox Music/Outsider artist: Aperture from the United States. The ex-Autumn member released numerous tracks for Holland's Fokuz label before focusing on his solo efforts and refining his sound that caught the ears of Paradox, Outrage, and Flight among others. Most recently, Aperture helped to launch Whisper Audio with Outrage and Kirsty Hawkshaw as an outlet for vocal drum and bass.
'Bija' offers no vocals, but what we find is an epic roller with beautiful stabs and strings reminiscent of the golden age of Drum & Bass! Playful piano and guitar bring more character to this deep yet very strong, Metalheadz-sounding track. The excellent ICR remix on the flip takes things into a drumfunk direction. This is truly cinematic, musical Drum & Bass - Misspent style.

Creating Impulses? So says ICR

"ICR has slowly and surely been taking over the internet with his fresh blend of soul infused sample-based drum & bass, and his Hungarian D&B news site Impulse Creator (drumandbass.hu). Now is your opportunity to find out a little more about ICR, and to sample four (yes FOUR!) free mp3s. How very generous :)"
